OBJECTIVE: To issue a statement ahead of the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Gwede Mantashe’s hastily convening of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) Review Summit in the wake of a potential legal challenge against the 6th Parliament, who failed to amend the MPRDA since an initial process was started in 2012 by the 4th Parliament of South Africa
